Michael Rother toc\u00f3 la guitarra. Klaus Dinger toc\u00f3 el beat que otros llamar\u00edan motorik, una palabra que Rother trata con cuidado, prefiriendo la imagen que de verdad usaban: un movimiento de avance r\u00e1pido, una carretera recta, nubes y colores pasando. M\u00e1s tarde, cuando se oy\u00f3 Autobahn, o a cien bandas robando un beat recto, se o\u00edan primos de esta apertura. Ten\u00edan poco equipo, un fuzz, un delay, un wah, y el p\u00fablico imaginaba un laboratorio. El disco es m\u00e1s humano que ese mito. Se oyen peque\u00f1as irregularidades en el beat, una guitarra que florece y luego se adelgaza. Rother ha dicho que ni ahora sabe del todo c\u00f3mo se arm\u00f3, y que la memoria de Plank era parte de la composici\u00f3n. Ese es el cr\u00e9dito m\u00e1s alto de un productor: no un sonido, una estructura. El tema abre el \u00e1lbum porque ten\u00eda que abrirlo. Todo lo que sigue es una variaci\u00f3n de haberse ido ya.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Lo que queda es la sensaci\u00f3n de un viaje sin cartel de destino. Ninguna ciudad tiene nombre. Ning\u00fan cantante dice c\u00f3mo se siente la libertad. La libertad es negarse a cambiar de acorde solo para demostrar que se puede. Cuando una armon\u00eda aparece en otra parte del disco, Rother ha dicho que tuvo que pensar mucho antes de permitirla. Aqu\u00ed, apenas. La flecha vuela.
