Les titres de travail incluaient <em>Get Lost<\/em>. Les sessions vont d&rsquo;octobre 2001 \u00e0 mars 2002 entre Mayfair, Heliocentric et Rockfield, avec le producteur am\u00e9ricain Tony Hoffer (Air, Beck) engag\u00e9 pour emp\u00eacher le groupe de trop analyser apr\u00e8s le disque \u00e9ponyme plus dense. Danny Goffey dira plus tard que Hoffer gardait les prises courtes et faisait avancer la pi\u00e8ce.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Les singles dessinent le virage. <em>Never Done Nothing Like That Before<\/em> lance la campagne en juillet 2002. <em>Grace<\/em>, mi-septembre, devient le visage radio de l&rsquo;album : clair, un peu glam, taill\u00e9 pour la tourn\u00e9e UK d&rsquo;automne jusqu&rsquo;au Shepherd&rsquo;s Bush Empire. <em>Seen the Light<\/em> suit en janvier 2003 ; <em>Rush Hour Soul<\/em> cl\u00f4t en ao\u00fbt. L&rsquo;album plafonne \u00e0 la 9e place UK et chart aussi en Australie, France, Irlande et Norv\u00e8ge. Les cr\u00e9dits de mix se partagent entre Hoffer, Dave Sardy et le groupe, ce qui colle \u00e0 un disque qui veut du punch sans perdre la m\u00e9lodie.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Soniquement, c&rsquo;est du Supergrass power-pop avec des bords space-glam. La pochette arc-en-ciel et silhouettes souligne le point : graphisme joueur, pas de collage nostalgique.
