En novembre 2014, Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds sort Do the Damage<\/em> en face B de In the Heat of the Moment<\/em>, apr\u00e8s un an o\u00f9 le morceau devait ouvrir l’album suivant. Le NME le diffuse le 13 novembre. Le t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement et le 45 tours limit\u00e9 suivent le 17 novembre, sur Sour Mash, le label de Gallagher. La face A est le premier aper\u00e7u public de Chasing Yesterday<\/em>. La face B est la chanson dont il s’est d\u00e9j\u00e0 convaincu de ne pas faire le premier titre.<\/p>\n

Chasing Yesterday<\/em> est \u00e9crit et produit par Gallagher, enregistr\u00e9 entre 2012 et 2014 \u00e0 Strangeways et \u00e0 Abbey Road, \u00e0 Londres. Il sort le 2 mars 2015 et entre directement num\u00e9ro un au Royaume-Uni. Sur le premier album, il avait envoy\u00e9 les mixes \u00e0 Dave Sardy \u00e0 Los Angeles. Sur le disque, c’est un rocker droit : batterie en avant, un refrain qui retombe sur \u00ab\u00a0We’ll do the damage, kid\u00a0\u00bb, et un couplet sur le loyer, un soleil qui se couche, et un r\u00eave d\u00e9j\u00e0 parti. Il n’en fait pas un manifeste. Une vid\u00e9o de performance suit en d\u00e9cembre 2014, un mois apr\u00e8s le clip de In the Heat of the Moment<\/em>.
