L’histoire de fuite de l’album s’\u00e9choue<\/h3>\n

(Stranded on) the Wrong Beach<\/em> est le titre neuf de Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds<\/em>, le premier album que Sour Mash sort le 17 octobre 2011, et Noel a dit au NME que c’\u00e9tait l\u00e0 que l’histoire de fuite du disque l\u00e2chait. Le disque s’ouvre sur Everybody’s on the Run<\/em>, une chanson sur le fait de quitter la ville pour voir si l’herbe est plus verte. Au titre neuf, le narrateur est dans l’endroit qu’il croyait vouloir, et c’est la mauvaise plage. Les parenth\u00e8ses, a-t-il dit, \u00e9taient une habitude. Il n’avait pas de meilleure raison. Il a tendance \u00e0 mettre des crochets. C’est toute l’explication.<\/p>\n

Gallagher l’\u00e9crit. Il la produit avec Dave Sardy. Jeremy Stacey joue la batterie. La m\u00eame cha\u00eene 2010-2011 que le reste de l’album s’applique : State of the Ark \u00e0 Twickenham et les autres studios londoniens, mixes \u00e0 Hillside Manor \u00e0 Los Angeles, mastering d’Ian Cooper \u00e0 Metropolis. Ce n’est pas un single. \u00c7a dure un peu plus de quatre minutes, tempo moyen, batterie et basse pouss\u00e9es, un refrain qui continue de verser un verre pour la route. La derni\u00e8re ligne demande qu’on vienne le chercher. Sur un album qui garde aussi Stop the Clocks<\/em> en fermeture, c’est la dispute avant l’adieu. Gallagher a dit au NME que tout le disque portait un r\u00e9cit de fuite, d’espoir et d’amour, et qu’il avait trois chansons qui sonnaient comme des fins, dont Everybody’s on the Run<\/em>, (I Wanna Live in a Dream in My) Record Machine<\/em> et Stop the Clocks<\/em>, donc il a d\u00fb les s\u00e9parer. Le titre neuf est celui qui admet que le voyage a rat\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Le premier album est num\u00e9ro un au Royaume-Uni. Ce morceau n’a pas de vid\u00e9o ni d’entr\u00e9e propre au classement. Il appara\u00eet en concert. Le premier show, \u00e0 l’Olympia Theatre de Dublin le 23 octobre 2011, est un set de vingt titres avec neuf chansons d’Oasis et le nouvel album tiss\u00e9 dedans. Le 26 f\u00e9vrier 2012, le groupe joue \u00e0 l’O2 Arena de Londres. Dick Carruthers r\u00e9alise le film, avec Jeremy Azis \u00e0 la production, et Sour Mash sort International Magic Live at the O2<\/em> le 15 octobre 2012. (Stranded on) the Wrong Beach<\/em> arrive tard dans ce set, apr\u00e8s Half the World Away<\/em> et avant les titres d’Oasis qui ferment la soir\u00e9e. Une d\u00e9mo est sur le CD bonus, \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 des d\u00e9mos du reste de l’album.<\/p>\n

L’album commence avec Everybody’s on the Run et l’id\u00e9e qu’il faut quitter l’endroit o\u00f9 l’on est pour trouver le paradis, pour voir si l’herbe est plus verte ailleurs. Mais on finit \u00e9chou\u00e9 sur la mauvaise plage, au paradis, en se disant : ce n’est pas vraiment ce que je voulais. Je devrais \u00eatre l\u00e0 d’o\u00f9 je viens. Je devrais \u00eatre l\u00e0 o\u00f9 est ma place.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Le texte est simple : une chute, un rebond, un verre pour la route, la terre s\u00e8che qui s’enfonce, venez me chercher. Il a aussi dit au NME qu’il avait d\u00fb penser \u00e0 tout \u00e7a sans le pr\u00e9voir. Deux ans apr\u00e8s avoir quitt\u00e9 Oasis en ao\u00fbt 2009, la phrase sur le fait d’appartenir \u00e0 l’endroit d’o\u00f9 l’on vient n’a pas besoin de mode d’emploi. Les parenth\u00e8ses sont un tic de Gallagher. La plage est le sens de la tracklist.<\/p>\n

Ce n’est pas la chanson pour laquelle on retient le premier album. If I Had a Gun…<\/em> et AKA… What a Life!<\/em> ont pris les singles, les vid\u00e9os et la radio. Celui-ci fait le travail \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur du disque : il dit que le paradis du premier morceau \u00e9tait une mauvaise adresse. Encha\u00eenez l’ouverture, puis celui-ci, puis Stop the Clocks<\/em>, et le disque de 2011 a une forme qui n’est pas seulement une pile de refrains. L’herbe n’\u00e9tait pas plus verte. Il l’a \u00e9crit et il a laiss\u00e9 les parenth\u00e8ses.<\/p>\n
